Tai Chi Quan is originally a form of martial arts. It differs from other types of exercise in several respects. The Tai Chi movements are usually circular and never forced, the muscles are relaxed rather than tensed, the joints are not fully extended or bent, and connective tissues are not stretched. It is often described as “meditation in motion”; a low-impact, slow-motion exercise enjoyed by all ages and well suited for older adults.

Yang Style Taijiquan 88 Stances (88式楊式太極拳)
18 Stances Tai Chi Qigon (太極氣功18式)
Yang Style Tai Chi Sword (楊式太極劍)
Tai Chi Fan (太極行雲扇)

1) Beginner Class

2) Intermediate Class for Participants completed Beginner’s Level
Wed 9:15 am to 10:45 am North/South Hall MMCC
